project: The restoration and extension of a Grade II Listed Hampshire cottage.

This Grade II Listed cottage had fallen into disrepair and required extensive restoration. Painstaking design and detailed discussions with the local authority conservation officer resulted in listed building consent being obtained for its alteration and the construction of two large extensions. Careful selection of reclaimed materials, traditional craftsmanship and sympathetic finishes have transformed this property into a comfortable family home whilst retaining and enhancing its period features. The result is a property where it is genuinely difficult to determine where the original ends and the new begins.
